Through
the support of alumni, industry and friends Dairy Science students are supported
through many scholarships. A total of almost $627,000 dollars in scholarships
and awards are available to Dairy Science students, including 14 freshmen
scholarships. A list of all Dairy Science scholarships is provided below.
Students may
apply for scholarships in early spring. Procedures
for applications will be announced and a designated ag-bio
scholarship form should
be submitted. This application will serve as an application for Dairy Science
scholarships as well as scholarships from the College of Agriculture and
Biological Sciences. Awards are made at the Dairy Science scholarship in
April. The date of the next

on the
home page.
Freshmen applicants may
apply
for scholarships along with their application for admission. To be
considered for a Dairy Science scholarship a Dairy Science major must be
declared in the application.
Other scholarship opportunities
are also available to Dairy Science students, e.g., from the National Dairy
Promotion and Research Board, FFA, Duane Rath Foundation and others. These
will be announced as they become available.
