Faculty Member Discusses Distillers Grains in Mexico

Dr. Alvaro Garcia, Associate Professor and Extension Dairy Specialist was an invited speaker by U.S. Commodities in Aguascalientes, Mexico on 13th September, 2005 at a conference hosted by Forrajera de Ganaderos (FOGASA), a large dairy cooperative. Dr. Garcia’s talk focused on Dried Distillers Grains and the benefits and utilization of DDG in formulation relative to their feeding values in comparison to other competing feed ingredients. Mexico is an increasing market for dried distillers grains produced in South Dakota.
