Faculty Member Discusses Distillers Grains in Korea

Dr. Kenneth Kalscheur, Assistant Professor in Dairy Science was recently invited to South Korea by the U.S. Grains Council to present two seminars on the Nutritional Value and Recommendations for Feeding DDGS dried distiller’s grains to Dairy Cattle. He presented this seminar at the International Symposium on Feed Development and Utilization for Environment Friendly Livestock and Poultry Production, Korea Feed Ingredients Association, in Seoul on July 14, 2005 and a second time to Korean Dairy Extension Specialists on July 15, 2005. While in Korea he also visited with dairy producers, nutritionists, and feed industry personnel to discuss the potential of including dried distillers grains with solubles in dairy cattle rations.
