Exchange Professorship

Drs. Ashraf Hassan, Assistant Professor (Dairy Manufacturing), and Kenneth Kalscheur, Associate Professor (Dairy Production) will travel to Korea during spring 2007 for an exchange professorship at the Chungnam National University in Daejon, Korea. Both faculty members will be affiliated with the Dairy Science department at Chungnam, which is headed by Dr. Young Kook Kim who received his Ph.D in Dairy Science in 1990. Dr. Hassan will be involved in Dairy Processing and Microbiology activities in the department and Dr. Kalscheur will work in the area of dairy cattle nutrition. Both faculty members will also explore possibilities for future collaboration. South Dakota State University has an active exchange professor program with Chungnam National University.
