Dairy Farm Manager/Lecturer

The Dairy Science department is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Laubach as the Manager, Dairy Research and Training Facility/Lecturer. Matt began his appointment on 13th August 2007. Matt holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Systems Management and M.S. in Nutrition Physiology/Dairy Nutrition. Both degrees are from North Dakota State University. Prior to his appointment at SDSU, Matt was the Farm Operations Coordinator in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences at NDSU. He also coached the Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge team at NDSU and served as the Bison Dairy Club advisor. In his new position at SDSU, Matt will be responsible for managing the SDSU dairy farm, supervise employees and teach various courses in dairy production. In addition, he will also coach the dairy cattle judging team.
