Jayne Raabe, Senior Secretary of the Dairy Science department was presented and Award of Recgonition and Appreciation for 20 years of dedicated service to SDSU by the Career Service Advisory Council at their annual meeting on 6th March 2007. Jayne has been employed in the Dairy Science department since 1987. Her initial position in Dairy Science was as Staff Assistant. In 1990 she she was promoted to Senior Secretary in Dairy Science and is currently in that position. In this position her responsibilities involve maintenance of departmental accounts, supervision of other secretaries in the department, and numerous other tasks and duties that include interaction with students, faculty, staff, parents and supporters. In 2004 she was recognized as Career Service Employee of the month.
