Visiting Scientist

Dr Hussein Abdel-aal

Dr. Hussein Abdel-aal, an Associate Professor of Food Science at Minia University, Egypt, is a visiting scientist in the Dairy Science Department at SDSU for 6 months. His Ph.D is from Minia University, Egypt and University of Georgia, Athens, GA and his area of expertise is food preservation and safety. Dr. Abed-aal will be working with Dr. Ashraf Hassan, Assistant Professor in Dairy Science on a joint USDA-FAS – Egypt research project titled: Expanding the use of whey in food and increase food safety.
