Visiting Scientist

Dr Muhammad Abdullah

Dr. Muhammad Abdullah who is Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production & Technology at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Lahore, Pakistan is our latest visiting scientist in the Dairy Science Department. Dr. Abdullah received his B.Sc. and M.Sc.(with Honors) from University of Agriculture Faisalabad prior to going to Iowa State University for his PhD. At ISU, he majored in Nutritional Physiology. To conduct research in the U.S., Dr. Abdullah has received a grant from the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan. While at SDSU, Dr. Abdullah will work with Dr. Arnold Hippen, Professor of Dairy Science in the area of fiber digestibility of ethanol co-products in diets of dairy cows until mid-June 2009.
