Driving directions:
From the South
1. Traveling north on I-29, take the first Brookings exit (Exit 132). Turn
left and travel west into Brookings. You will see the Quality Inn and Brookings
Inn by the Interstate. The road you are entering Brookings on is Hwy 14,
which is also 6th Street (this is the main thoroughfare through town).
2. Follow 6th Street to Medary Avenue. Take a right turn on Medary (heading north).
3. Proceed to North Campus Drive.
4. Take a right turn on North Campus Drive (heading east).
5. Turn right on to Rotunda Lane (heading south) and right again into the Dairy Micro parking lot. This is the second parking lot on Rotunda Lane as you head south.
6. The Dairy Science office is located in Room 109 and 113. Ask for a visitors parking permit at the desk.
From the North
Traveling south on I-29, take the second exit (Exit 132) into Brookings (you
will see the Quality Inn and the Brookings Inn by the Interstate). Turn right
off of the off ramp and drive west in to Brookings. You will enter Brooking
on Hwy 14, which is also 6th Street. Follow the directions above, beginning
at paragraph 2 above.
From the East
Traveling west, you will enter Brookings on Hwy 14, which is also 6th Street.
Follow the directions above, beginning at paragraph 2 above.
From the West
1. Traveling east on Hwy 14, follow the Hwy 14 Bypass Route until you come
to Medary Avenue (there is a stoplight at this intersection).
2.Turn right on Medary Avenue (heading south).
3. Turn left on North Campus Drive and follow directions beginning in Paragraph 5 above..
Parking at SDSU
Designated visitor parking is available in Dairy Micro Building parking lot.
If the visitor area is full, you can park in any parking lot on campus except
those spaces marked for Reserved or Handicapped Parking. Visitor parking decals
can be obtained from the university traffic office across from the Arts
Museum or from the Dairy Science office.
The University parking plan allows SDSU staff and students to purchase an individual reserved parking space, which is the only place they can park on campus. In order to protect these spaces, anyone parking illegally in Reserved Parking may be ticketed and towed.
