Member of the North Central Branch of American Society for Microbiology, Institute of Food Technologists, American Dairy Science Association, SDSU-Functional Genomics Core Facility, ADSA/ASAS Food Safety Committee, Member of the FAO expert group (JECFA) for food additives, contaminants and natural toxicants for 2007 to 2011, Vice Chair of the Food Safety Committee for the 2009 Joint ADSA-ASAS-CSAS symposium to be held at Montreal, Canada, SD State resource person in food safety and added in the ‘Food Safety Contacts Directory’ of USDA, CSREES, July 2007-present.
